The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard starts filming in Croatia

The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard has officially started filming in Rovinj, Croatia. This is the sequel to the 2017 action comedy also directed by Patrick Hughes. Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are joined again by the beautiful Salma Hayek

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, one of the biggest projects filmed in Croatia as part of production incentive programme, had its regional premiere in Pula Arena, during 65th Pula Film Festival.


Shooting wraps for HBO’s Uspjeh (Success) filmed in Zagreb

Shooting has wrapped for Uspjeh, the first original HBO production in our region. Last week, representatives of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre and media from Croatia, Serbia and Macedonia, visited the crew on set at one of Zagreb’s hotels.


Island of Pag covered with snow and ice in 'The Terror', produced by Ridley Scott

On Thursday, March 29, The Terror, a new series produced by Ridley Scott, will have its world premiere on AMC. The show was filmed on the Island of Pag in April, 2017.   


Filming of HBO series 'Success', directed by Oscar winner Danis Tanović, set to start in Zagreb

The filming of Uspjeh (Success), a six-part series directed by Oscar winner Danis Tanović and produced by HBO Europe and HBO Adria, will start at the beginning of March in Zagreb. The series, written by Marjan Alčevski, is one of the winners of the HBO Adria ‘First Draft’ contest.    


In 'McMafia', Croatia stood in for nine different countries

Hugely anticipated BBC TV series McMafia, shot partially in Croatia,aired on BBC One on Monday, January 1. The series will run on BBC for the next six consecutive weeks and is expected to air on AMC and Amazon Prime later in the year.


Dubrovnik in 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'

The latest episode of the greatest modern film mythology Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to be released in theatres in Croatia and around the globe on Thursday, December 14th. Parts of the film were shot in March 2016 in Dubrovnik.    


Filming of 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again' wraps on Vis

The filming of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, the sequel to the 2008 blockbuster hit, wrapped on Tuesday on the Island of Vis. There were a total of 24 filming days, and more than 270 Croatian film professionals and extras were engaged.


Filming of Dutch-Belgian-Croatian film 'Rafael' begins

On Saturday, September 30th, filming of the Dutch-Belgian-Croatian film Rafael began at numerous locations in Moščenićka Draga. The film will be shot in Croatia over 30 days, and once finished in Istria, the crew will move on to locations in Obrovac, on Pag and in Zagreb.


Dubrovnik and Kaštela competing for European Location Award!

11 fantastic locations will compete for the European Location Award, created by Filming Europe - the European Film Commissions Network, in collaboration with Cineuropa. Among these 11 locations, two are in Croatia - city of Dubrovnik and Fortress Kaštilac in Kaštela, both featured in planetary popular Game of Thrones series.
