Synopsis

Adapted from the Tony Award-winning play of the same name, the film Oslo tells the story of a Norwegian couple, Mona Juul and Terje Rod-Larsen. Their passion for peace in the region played a crucial role in the handshake between Yitzhak Rabin, the Israeli prime minister, and Yasir Arafat, the president of the Palestine Liberation Organization, which announced the signing of the revolutionary Oslo Accords.

Oslo is a human drama that takes place on the world stage and shows us how a few individuals, convinced that dialogue can overcome any conflict, manage to create a moment filled with hope and peace.
