Synopsis
The Empress S2 is the second season of the television series set in the Habsburg Empire, where political instability and pressure to secure an heir to the throne burden Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth. Within the court, numerous ladies-in-waiting vie for the Empress’s favour, while Elisabeth searches for her path and struggles for personal and political independence.
