Synopsis
1962. The younger generation is rebelling against the Establishment. One of them is Eik Skaløe, a peace activist, who falls in love with his comrade Iben. However, Iben refuses to commit herself to one man. Eik is desperate and tries to win her over by becoming first a poet then a writer, a nomad, a junkie and eventually the lead singer in the legendary band Steppeulvene.
