Synopsis
Branka Marić has done it: fearless, cunning, audacious and charming – she won the battle and is now Head of the Homicide Unit in Split. The first woman to hold that office.
Part V
The body of 18-year-old Eva Tomić has been found near the small town of Kraca in Split hinterland. Her eyes closed, head gently reclined on the moss-covered a stone, blood stains on the T-shirt, and a garbage bag over her lap.
Part VI
Mladen Ribar, a construction officer from Split, has been found in his vehicle, brutally stabbed in the heart with an ice pick. There was a message on the ice pick – it said: ‘Corrupt pig’.
